Mazda Has Its Best January in North America Since 1994

Mazda accelerates deeper into 2018 after recording its best January Sales in 24 years. According to insidemazda.mazdausa.com, “Mazda North American Operations…reported total January US sales of 24,962 vehicles, representing an increase of 15 percent versus January of last year…as Mazda posts its best January in 24 years.” That sales record is made up of several individual sales increases year-over-year.

Each of the Mazda CX-line of SUVs had a fantastic January. The Mazda CX-5 recorded a record January on its own. Selling 13,463 vehicles, it marked the 10th consecutive record month and marked a 66.9 percent increase compared to January 2017. The Mazda CX-3 saw a 14 percent year-over-year increase, and the Mazda CX-9 saw a 46.8 percent increase in year-over-year sales. It is thanks to the SUV sales that Mazda North America was able to hit that record month.
